Requirements and Information for Training New Diagnosticians
Two Types: Independent and Supporting
Independent Diagnostician: An Independent Diagnostician holds an independent license with the Perceptual Development Corporation. They must satisfy all minimum educational and professional requirements to be considered eligible to apply for an Independent Diagnostician License.
Supporting Diagnostician: A Supporting Diagnostician works under a licensed and supervisory Irlen Diagnostician. Supporting Diagnosticians do not hold an independent license with the Perceptual Development Corporation and are not able to practice outside of the specific confines stated within their contract with the supervisory Diagnostician. A Supporting Diagnostician working in the same facility as a Supervisory Diagnostician does not need to satisfy the minimum educational and professional qualifications required to be an Independent Diagnostician. A Supporting Diagnostician working at a separate location/facility from the Supervisory Diagnostician must satisfy the minimum educational and professional qualifications required of an Independent Diagnostician.
